In 2002, the winemakers launched a project to produce the highest-quality Garnacha wines from the oldest vineyards of the local Garnacha grape variety. This project has preserved true treasures that would otherwise have been lost. At the foothills of Moncayo, 100 hectares of “Garnacha de Monte” were planted several decades ago, and today these grapes are vinified at the winery. Here, everything revolves around perfecting the Garnacha grape. The winery also excels in this: aged in new barriques for 16 to 24 months, the wines mature into an incredibly full-bodied, dense, and wonderfully fruity delight.
