The liqueur
The delicate and well-known liqueur "Licor Beirão" is made in the area of Lousã. It is made by double distillation of selected plants and herbs according to an old, secret recipe.

Enjoy your Licor Beirão "on the rocks", or try the "Caipirão".
The caipirão is a modification of the caipirinha. Instead of brown sugar and the sugarcane brandy Cachaça the Licor Beirão is used.

Preparation Caipirão:
Quarter a half of lime and pour into a glass. Pound and fill with ice. Then fill up with 5cl Licor Beirão. Finished.
