Castel Firmian Mezzacorona Teroldego Rotaliano DOC 2022 Red Wine – Ruby red color, intense and velvety. On the nose, fine notes of vanilla and almond. On the palate, the wine reveals excellent structure, elegant tannins, balanced acidity, and a mineral note that reflects its terroir. Aromas of ripe wild berries and red currants lead to a fruit-forward finish with hints of red fruit jam. Pairs excellently with spicy and rich dishes, main courses with meat sauce, as well as smoked and grilled vegetables.

The Castel Firmian line originates from the castle of the same name overlooking the Rotaliana plain: full-bodied wines crafted from select grape varieties. The Region

South Tyrol/Trentino is one of Italy's smallest wine-growing regions. A wide variety of altitudes, soil types, and climatic conditions make it highly multifaceted; numerous grape varieties find a suitable environment here. In the north, the Alps protect against cold winds, while from the south, Mediterranean currents from Lake Garda and the Mediterranean Sea flow through the open landscape. The best vineyards are located between 600 and 800 meters above sea level and produce promising and diverse wines; large temperature differences between day and night and sufficient rainfall during the growing phase create ideal conditions for high grape quality. Over 55 percent of the vineyard area is planted with white Pinot Grigio, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Blanc, and Chardonnay.
