Champagne Jacquart Signature Rosé Sparkling Wine – A fresh, fruity champagne, salmon pink with a fairly intense, persistent mousse. The bouquet is medium-bodied and shows lovely complexity, with aromas of quince, apricot, peach and strawberries, followed by exotic fruits such as pineapple and lychee. This is complemented by a delicate yeasty aroma. On the palate, the champagne is pleasantly full and effervescent, with a slightly sweet first impression. Its lovely acidity immediately balances this out, and the overall body is harmonious and full. The finish again reveals plenty of clear fruit character, followed by a medium-length finish.

About Champagne Jacquart

Champagne Jacquart is a young, modern champagne house brimming with optimism. Its mission: to turn the little pleasures of everyday life into great occasions for sharing and emotion. The excellence of its expertise serves a free spirit and a joyful, colourful vision of life, in which people feel free to indulge in life’s essential pleasures. The brand brings a more relaxed luxury to the world of champagne, offering less formal ways to enjoy it, with outstanding quality at a fair price. This quality, with its straightforward, airy and refined character, is shaped by a mosaic of terroirs and the passion of talented winegrowers.

The Region

With its comparatively cool climate, Champagne in northeastern France was the first region in the world to produce sparkling wine on a large scale and is now synonymous with the highest product quality. Only sparkling wines from Champagne may be called champagne; as products, they serve as a worldwide benchmark, like the wines of Bordeaux and Burgundy. The roots of the vigorous vines penetrate deep into the soil, which consists of calcareous sediments and thus provides ideal conditions for water management. The best sites are found on the slopes of the hills characteristic of the landscape. While a whole range of grape varieties used to be grown in Champagne, today the main varieties are Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay.
