Aroma: notes of juniper and coriander, spicy and citrus fresh.
Taste: Soft on the palate with initially dry juniper to which increasing sweetness joins of lemon cake and marmalade, topped by a wave of fresh orange peel before the flavors unite harmoniously.
Departure: dryness leads, with spicy juniper and a hint of orange peel.
The Filliers family lived until the early 18th century exclusively from agriculture. Karel Lodewijk Filliers was born 1792 in Bachte Maria Leerne, 15 km west of Ghent and had at an early age the idea to expand the family business to the production of Genever.
In 1880 the founder Karel Lodewijk Filliers was responsible for ensuring that its own internal bladder is installed on the still agricultural yard to overlook the process of distilling better could. Kamiel Filliers (born in 1836) supported him while in the second generation now.
Firmin Filliers was born in 1888 and belongs to the third generation of the family. He took over the leadership of the company and created the recipe for the Filliers Dry Gin 28 in 1928th
