About Kaiken

The name Kaiken comes from the Patagonian wild goose, known as Kaiken to the native Mapuche people. The Region

More than 300 years ago, Jesuits discovered Mendoza’s advantages for winegrowing. Today, the province is Argentina’s most important and largest wine-growing region. Its dry climate, significant temperature differences between day and night, and vineyards at around 1,000 metres above sea level provide ideal conditions for producing quality wines. Thanks to the Andean glaciers, there is always enough water, making the stony, clay and sandy soils the perfect foundation for naturally grown grapes.
