Kaiken Ultra Cabernet Sauvignon Mendoza 2020 Red Wine – This fruity, full-bodied and well-balanced varietal Cabernet Sauvignon is deep red with occasional violet hues. The nose reveals a fairly intense, complex bouquet of cherry, plum and blackberry, along with some dried fruit, notes of chocolate and coffee, and a hint of liquorice. On the palate, the aforementioned aromas come through clearly once again in harmonious interplay; the finish is fairly long.

The name Kaiken comes from the Patagonian wild goose, known as a kaiken by the indigenous Mapuche people. The region

Over 300 years ago, Jesuits discovered Mendoza’s advantages for viticulture. Today, the province is Argentina’s most important and largest wine-growing region. The dry climate, the wide temperature variations between day and night, and vineyards at an altitude of around 1,000 metres above sea level provide ideal conditions for quality winemaking. Thanks to the Andean glaciers, there is always plenty of water, making the stony, clay and sandy soils the perfect foundation for naturally grown grapes.
