About Kaiken

The name Kaiken comes from the Patagonian wild goose, known as “Kaiken” to the indigenous Mapuche people. The region

More than 300 years ago, Jesuits discovered Mendoza’s advantages for viticulture. Today, the province is Argentina’s most important and largest wine-growing region. Its dry climate, wide temperature variations between day and night, and vineyards at around 1,000 metres above sea level provide ideal conditions for producing quality wines. Thanks to the Andean glaciers, there is always plenty of water, making the stony, clay and sandy soils the perfect foundation for naturally grown grapes.
