Its fruity, fresh character is supported by a very soft, full-bodied palate and rounded off by a harmonious, lingering finish.

Such is the case with the wonderful wines of Locos Por El Vino (Crazy About Wine), made from grapes grown in young, new vineyards in prime locations and crafted by their creators into fruity yet complex, modern and elegant taste experiences. Chris Ringland and José Miguel San Martin, two winemakers behind the top wines of Alto Moncayo, have brought another project to life with Locos Por El Vino.

The Region

The northeastern Spanish region of Aragón encompasses the broad Ebro Valley and is dominated in the north by the Pyrenees, which supply water to the dry valley. Thanks to this location, the wines produced here have great potential. Small, outstanding wineries with a strong commitment to quality are making Aragón, with its four DO areas of Cariñena, Calatayud, Campo de Borja and Somontano, increasingly appealing to wine lovers. Garnacha and Tempranillo are the main red grape varieties grown here.
