Mount Rigi Liqueur Flavor of the Alps 70 cl / 20 % Schweiz

A cherry liqueur with a hint of lemon coming from the middle of Switzerland: the Mount Rigi liqueur. Made according to old recipes, it should be served as an aperitif.

A popular tourist destination in Switzerland is the Rigi, a mountain massif with the Rigi Kulm, which is the highest of six summits at 1797.5 meters above sea level. Surrounded by the Rigi of three lakes and is therefore almost completely embraced by the water. Every summer, the crowds of tourists flock to the summits to enjoy the magnificent views. But the Rigi is known for something quite different: the cherry brandy, which is made from the red, sweet fruits that grow on the massive mountain slopes. The Mount Rigi liqueur is made by the Mount Rigi distillery in Zug to old recipes, has a slightly fruity citrus note in addition to the typical cherry flavor and should be served ice cold as an aperitif.
