The Spanish house Gonzalez Byass has developed a first whiskey in collaboration with Richard Paterson, the master blender of Whyte & Mackay. The Nomad Outland Whiskey is a Scottish blend, which is followed by the sherry specialist for a period of 12 months. For this purpose former Bourbon oak barrels are used, in which Pedro Ximénez Sherry matured. The particular climate of the region around the city of Jerez in Andalusia has a further influence on the storage. Temperature, humidity, gentle winds and natural yeasts of sherry production determine the environment in which the barrels rest within the bodega. Origin: Born in Scotland and raised in Jerez Color: Topaz color with light golden nuances Flavor: whiskey, intense scent of raisins, honey and vanilla Taste: Gentle and balanced on the palate, light sweetness in the reverberation. Intensive aromas of dry fruits, vanilla and spices Special: Unique concept: 5-6 years old blended Scotch whiskey with 40% malt content, with additional maturation in Pedro Ximenez barrels in the Gonzalez Byass Bodega in Jerez, Spain.
