Quinta Sardonia QS – Organic 2020 Red Wine – This highly harmonious garnet-red wine enchants with intensely fruity aromas of cassis and blackberry, accompanied by hints of cherry and plum. These are complemented by notes of biscuit and chocolate, as well as delicately spicy hints of licorice and vanilla. Juicy tannins, an extremely supple, full-bodied structure, and a very long-lasting finish leave a lasting impression.

Quinta Sardonia originated from a joint project in the 90s by Frenchman Jérôme Bougnaud and the renowned Dane Peter Sisseck. The Region

Castilla y León encompasses the northern half of the great central Spanish plateau. It extends from the center of Spain almost to the north coast; the vineyards are situated at 700 to 1,000 meters above sea level. Despite its proximity to the Atlantic, the climate is continental, with hot, dry summers, icy winters, and significant temperature fluctuations between day and night. Because there is also very little rain, the soils are nutrient-poor – except near the region's numerous rivers, the most famous of which is the Duero, where significantly more minerals and clay can be found.
