Segura Viudas Cava DO Brut – Vegan Sparkling Wine – A fresh, fruity and sustainable sparkling wine, yellow with very fine green reflections and quite intense perlage. The nose reveals quite intense and complex aromas of grapefruit and lemon, but also some exotic fruits and stone fruits. Light tea and very fine floral and spicy notes round off the aromatic profile. On the palate, the Cava is quite vigorously but pleasantly moussy, and tastes fresh and aromatic. The structure is medium-bodied and harmonious, while the beautiful fruit bouquet and light minerality reappear in the finish.

Since 1969, the quality of Segura Viudas Cava sparkling wines has been delighting connoisseurs, and today it is one of the most important producers of premium Cavas in Catalonia. For the top Cavas, which many enthusiasts find fresher and fruitier than Champagne, only must from the first pressing of exclusively hand-picked Xarello, Parellada and Macabeo grapes is used. The sparkling wines are made using bottle fermentation and aged for up to 60 months on specially cultivated house yeast cultures. The final touch is the unique, hand-crafted bottle of the premium Reserva Heredad product.

The Region

Catalonia is a renowned region in northeastern Spain. The Catalans are the driving force and the greatest innovators in Spanish winemaking.
